In addition to serving young children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families, the multi-talented Amanda is a Certified Lactation Counselor.

The Reason: I took the job because it provided the opportunity to snuggle babies, delight in toddlers, help families in my community, and the flexibility to put my own family first.

Favorite Part: My favorite part of the job is feeling like I have provided support and comfort to families I work with when they need it the most.

Standout Moment: Watching families advocate for the needs of their children in IEP meetings and seeing kids meet developmental milestones for the first time have been magical moments for me.

Little Known Fact: I love all things psychology and if I weren’t such a wuss, I would love to be an FBI profiler.
