We were fortunate enough to cross Abi’s path back in 2019, when she was looking for a job that sparked her passion. She joined us as a behavior technician (BT), and then earned certificates as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). She works with kids diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in our Learning Center.

Favorite Part: The progress our learners make on a day-to-day basis, and the impact it has on them and their families.

Standout Moment: It’s hard to pick just one, but it’s tough to beat that moment when learners have achieved their treatment goals and no additional skill areas or behavioral issues have been identified. Their next step is to begin generalizing the skills taught during therapy to their everyday lives. It’s a momentous transition!

A Thing I’ve Learned: That they grow fast, that each child is so different, and that they are all full of energy! They have taught me perspective, patience, empathy, and compassion.

Cutting Loose: Skiing, camping, floating the river, watching movies, and traveling. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and the new things adventure brings.

Little Known Fact: I played Rumpelstiltskin in a play when I was young.
