Kids of all abilities need support to stay healthy, pursue their goals, participate in activities they enjoy and contribute to their classrooms and communities. Ongoing support can be especially helpful for a child with a developmental disability.
If you are seeking developmental disability (DD) services (including Medicaid Waivers) for your child who is age seven or older, then you need to find out if s/he meets Montana’s DD eligibility criteria.
The Child Development Center is authorized to complete the psychological evaluation and other requirements of Montana’s DD Eligibility Determination. Montana’s Department of Public Health and Human Services, Developmental Disabilities Program, will then review the documentation and tell you whether your child is eligible for publicly funded DD services.
There is no cost for this service.
If you are ready to begin the DD Eligibility Determination Process for a child who is age seven or older, please get started by making a referral.
