First Friday, April 1: Autism Acceptance

Leaflet Rykerjpg_Page1The Child Development Center’s month-long Autism Acceptance campaign kicks off as part of First Friday, April 1 in vibrant downtown Missoula.

Join us on Friday, April 1 between 5 – 8 p.m. at the MSO Hub and adjoining Bicycle Hangar in downtown Missoula. While you enjoy refreshments and chat with friends and family, you can also support our Autism Acceptance campaign:

  • Appreciate artwork by youth with Bitterroot Arts for Autism.
  • Watch videos of Montana talking about why autism acceptance matters to them.
  • Donate to help us purchase educational tools (toys, technology and experiences) that facilitate learning for kids with autism in our programs.
  • Enter to win great raffle prizes (for kids and adults) donated by local businesses! (Tickets are only $1.)

Pheck out the event on Facebook, and help us spread the word by Sharing and Inviting your friends. Together, we can help build a more accepting and inclusive community for all children.

Thank you

Karl Tyler Auto Group has been an incredible sponsor and partner to this campaign. A big thanks is also owed to the MSO Hub and the Bicycle Hangar for hosting us on First Friday. We’re grateful to our supporters at Imagination Station Missoula for providing toys for our educational displays, a sensory activity table and a raffle prize. Many other local businesses have also been generous, and we thank them. Finally, a shout out to our friends at Bitterroot Arts for Autism for their creative work.
