Developmental Evaluations

child being evaluated

Do you have questions about how your child is learning and growing? Perhaps he isn’t meeting developmental milestones, or maybe she just doesn’t act like other children her age. An evaluation is the first step to understanding what your child might need to help him develop his potential.

We know how scary it can be to imagine your child with a delay or disability. Our caring professionals are here to support you.

What are developmental evaluations?

Developmental Evaluations look at one or more areas of your child’s development to identify both strengths and weaknesses. Through state contracts, we are able to offer developmental evaluations at no cost to families for children from birth to age five.

Evaluations for young children happen through play, along with questions for parents or guardians. Our expert team examines language, learning, physical, self-help (eating, toileting, washing, dressing, etc.) and social-emotional skills.
